We try to collect as little data as possible when you visit our website. However, there are two main reasons for us to save and use certain data: (1) When you create an account, we use your email-address as a reference and to send you important updates. We will not share this address with third parties. (2) This is a 100% side non-commercial side project of ours, so we need to use services provided by third parties, such as hosting, analytics and ads, to keep the page alive. We have decided to use Google for these kinds of service, therefore you should also be familiar with the privacy policies of the following Google products:
There are two types of wallpapers: public ones and unlisted ones. Public ones will be visible in the different gallery pages and can be found through the search function. If you do not want this to happen, you can uncheck the "public wallpaper" checkbox in the generator; this will then generate an unlisted wallpaper. The unlisted mode works pretty much the same way it does on youtube: The wallpaper can not be discovered through someone's user page, the gallery or the search. However, if you share the link of your wallpaper with someone, this person will be able to view and download the wallpaper. This means that there are no truly private wallpapers which can only be seen by certain users. If you have sensitive content in your wallpaper, such as personal information (names, faces of family members etc.), it might be advised to download your wallpaper from your account and then delete it.
